IIA Spam Code Commences 16 July PDF Print

The IIA Spam Code of Practice which applies to all ISPs and email services providers in Australia comes into effect on 16 July 2006. ACMA has provided an advice outlining the main compliance areas of concern. ISPs and email service providers are encouraged to familliarise themselves with the Code and take steps to ensure that they are implementing these best practice standards in the interests of further combatting the spam problem.
